Stuart Capaldi

Born in Wales in 1949 and later moving to Scotland, Stuart Capaldi is a third-generation Italian Scot whose family originates from the Comino Valley. His grandfather came from Picinisco, while his grandmother from Villa Latina. Now retired from his career as a Regional Manager in Quantity Surveying and a Local Authority Principal Officer, Stuart maintains a strong connection to Picinisco and the Comino Valley. He has a passionate interest in his family’s ancestry and past. Recognising that his relatives had dispersed globally to Australia, Mexico, the United States, Germany, Russia, and Hong Kong, in addition to the United Kingdom, Stuart launched The Capaldi Clan, a website dedicated to the history of his family and their global diasporas.
