Anna Alonzi

Born in Edinburgh in 1961, Anna Alonzi is the daughter of Italian immigrants from Picinisco. Driven by a deep curiosity about her family’s roots, Anna pursued Foreign Languages at the University of Edinburgh, where she also studied Italian. Anna’s bilingualism proved instrumental in her professional life. She had a successful career as an employee at the Italian Consulate in Edinburgh before retiring. Today, Anna continues to express her Italian identity through language and culture. She regularly watches Italian television and enjoys reading Italian novels.
